Help the Rifugio with an adoption for Valentines Day

Il Rifugio degli Asinelli is looking now for people to adopt one of their rescued donkeys for Valentines day. By doing this people would not only provide a great and original present for their loved ones but be helping the charity raise much needed funds.

The Foundation Il Rifugio degli Asinelli O.N.L.U.S., in order to be able to care for the 107 donkeys actually in its care and to be able to save more donkeys from lives of misery and neglect, only relies on private donations.

There are 6 donkeys to choose from (Pufulet, Filippo, Clementina, Ombra, Rufus and Alin), and there will be special Valentine certificates for those who adopt on this special day, personalized with the adopter name and the chosen donkey picture.

Lodovica Giorsa, Office Assistant for the charity, said "If you are looking for a new idea to surprise your beloved one, this adoption is surely for you. This year valentines day will be on Sunday so you will be able to promptly bring your mate to get to know his/her adoptee donkey: when he/she will look into their eyes, they could not help from getting captivated. Valentines adoption is a really great way of helping the charity: it only costs 20€, which are, for instance, the cost to give all of our 107 donkeys a hay feed."
