Summer Grooming Day

After last two Grooming Days were cancelled due to bad weather, finally one of donkeys' lover most favourite event is coming: on Sunday 24th June, from 2 pm to 6,30 pm, Summer Grooming Day will take place at Il Rifugio.

“During these events, organized by Staff, visitors can learn a lot about daily grooming and try to brush donkeys by their own” General Manager Barbara Massa explains. "Children and adults will be able to know better our 112 donkeys, Marco the mule and Sogno the horse homed at IRDA".
"Furthermore, “illustrator Nives Manara will present her latest book CAVALLO AMICO MIO – fratello, dolce compagno, and will be available to sign copies”.

On Saturday 23th June one hundred of Citroen 2CV will stop off at Il Rifugio. "We are sure it will be a very positive experience, just like the meeting of over 160 campers some months ago" says Barbara Massa.

We wish to remind that there are no entry fees for visits and Grooming Days; no booking is required. Dogs are welcome. .
