Because of the rainy weather we were obliged to move or cancel a big part of the booked school visits. Anyway about 200 children enjoyed donkeys' company.
Our family is growing: Silvia, whose story you can find in our web site in rescues, gave birth to a beautiful foal on the 4th. He is healthy and long legs!
April 2010
Spring is finally arrived at IRDA! our donkeys are very happy to enjoy sunbaths and their fields.
During April, they have met 11 classes from local schools, who has learnt something new about these beautiful animals. I'm very pleased to say that all the children I met were very interested on donkeys and asked me thousands of clever questions. Hopefully with this future generation, our work against mistreatments would be easier!
