Domenica Bestiale: such a special Sunday!

Despite bad weather forecast, holiday-time and all the difficulties that you expect when you're organizing a big event involving volunteers from many different charities... well, we did it! This second edition of "Domenica Bestiale" was a special day for all of us.

Almost 700 visitors joined us for the event dedicated to "unconventional pets" and those charities which take care of them, as La Collina dei Conigli ONLUS (rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and mice), IHP Italian Horse Protection Association, Vivi gli Animali ONLUS (farm animals), Centro recupero ricci La Ninna (hedgehogs). CANC Grugliasco (veterinary clinic for wild and unconventional animals).

All of them were here with stalls and activities for children.

Their representatives also talked about what they do and the animals they take care of: so we have been able to know Dodo, the sweetest bull ever, rescued by Vivi gli Animali; and hedgehog Ninna, since all was started for vet Massimo Vacchetta. .

The last talk was by Ermanno Giudici: writer, blogger and one of the most skilled expert in animal welfare legislation in Italy. We have been very proud that he accepted our invitation and also more to read his words: "It's hard to get animal welfare laws respected, but thanks to events like Domenica Bestiale things are changing".
