Here at the Rifugio, we firmly believe that education is the best method of fighting the mistreatment and abandonment of animals. Following this philosophy, our work focuses on teaching people to respect animals and nature in general. We encourage children to learn about the environment from a young age.

Fondazione “Il Rifugio degli Asinelli ONLUS” organizes guided tours: for 1 hour, staff illustrates donkeys’ stories, ethology and anatomy and satisfies all the curiosities about these wonderful animals.
