Foster day
Posted on 24 June 2022.Becoming foster owners of a couple of donkeys is truly a unique, exciting and rewarding experience. In fact, it will allow you to take care daily of wonderful and lovely animals as donkeys are, creating a deep special bond. Alberto and Francesca have been patient for a long time to live this adventure, becoming the enthusiastic foster owners of Ciarli, Rolinda and Battistina, three brothers who found a new home and a lot of love. In fact, our foster sheme allows donkeys to have a "one-to-one relationship with their humans" which, due to numerical proportions, we are unable to have at Il Rifugio.
On Sunday 11 September, we are planning a limited number free day entirely dedicated to those wishing to take care of a couple of donkeys from Il Rifugio. The event will take place approximately from 10.30 to 16.30 with, in the morning, an in-depth study on the Foster Terms and Conditions by our Welfare Adviser, which must be viewed before booking your participation. In the afternoon, an outdoor session will be held instead, to learn more about the donkeys of the program.
