Medi'Asinus: Mediation with donkeys
Posted on 4 April 2014.It's scheduled on 11th October 2014 in Biella, a few kilometres away from il Rifugio degli Asinelli, the 1st International meeting Medi'Asinus, by informal network Medi’Asinus EUROPA, developed from an original idea by Medi’âne, French association working since 2003 in the field of mediation with donkeys.
The word "mediation" indicates the activities which in Italy are called IIA (Interventi Assistiti con gli Animali): pet-therapy, rehabilitation, education and others. Centro di referenza nazionale for IAA (CRN IAA) has established a worthwhile collaboration with Médi’âne France and agreed to give its patronage the European meeting. By CRN IAA's side, Il Rifugio degli Asinelli Onlus and online community Raglio.com gave their support to co-ordinate the event.
The chance to gather many associations is a unique opportunity for everyone involved in activities with donkeys, to get a complete idea of experiences and results in Europe.
