Marco’s story

Marco was the first mule we welcomed at the Rifugio. He was the son of a thoroughbred mare and a donkey, and was found abandoned by his owner. 

He recovered at one of our holding bases in France, and then arrived at our centre in Sala Biellese, where he immediately stood out for his elegant appearance and peppery character.
