Filippo’s story

Filippo was born in the safety of our sanctuary after his pregnant mother, Sheila, was found in Romania with a deep wound in her belly. After her rescue, she managed to give birth to a Filippo, who has now become a sociable and cheerful donkey. 

For three years, he was treated for sarcoids, but, fortunately, he is now happy and healthy.
